Hi, I'm Laura

I’m a homebody and have never left my childhood home town in Southern California. I’ve been married for over 40 years to my best friend and biggest cheerleader. I’m a mom, grandma, an artist, gardener, maker and surface pattern designer. 

I grew up in a home where creativity was fostered by my mom and my grandmother. I love growing my own vegetables and flowers, doing all things creative and getting away occasionally to the sound of the ocean on the California Central Coast.

I have a passion for encouraging others to explore the ways they can express their creativity….because we are ALL creative in one way or another.

What I Love to Do

  • TURNING MY ART INTO FABRIC DESIGN

    Most of my fabric designs are painted in watercolor or hand drawn in my sketchbook or on my iPad. I love taking my art and turning it into surface pattern designs for fabric and more.

  • READ

    I didn't really start reading for pleasure until my 30s. I was a poor reader as a child but I was determined to learn from the books that my peers were recommending. I started with the goal of reading one book a month and I haven't looked back! I'm not a fan of fiction books but I'm all in for a good biography, gardening tips or some business building advice. Non fiction is my jam.
